Indomitable Tamanna
Naturally, she was most unwelcomed at her birth as she was born without three limbs out of four. Since her birth, she had to face many adversities. her Parents had faced many insults because of their daughter's disabilities. But they never gave up hope. Rather, they reared her with utmost care. They always supported her through the thick and this of her life and made her believe that her physical disability did not define her in any way.
Although Tamanna was physically challenged. she had a sharp memory and was an attentive listener. her mother saw her daughter read well. ''So why won't she be able to write?'' she thought. So, she stuck a pen between her toes and taught her to write . In a few days. she got a good grasp. But back then school did not want to take her in as a student. However, a Teacher of the school had arranged for her admission. Using a wheelchair, Tamanna attended classes with the support of her family. She used to sit on a separate table the class.
Tamanna is a very Talented Girl. Her memory is sharp. After she got admitted to the school, the other students found it difficult to keep up with her. She came first while moving up from class two to three. Though Born without two arms and legs, she is able to do almost all the work through her willpower. She has trained her leg to draw pictures as well as graphs for geometry and science. She won several prizes at the Upazila level for creative drawing. She achieved GPA-5 in every public examination-PECE, JSC, SSC, and HSC.
This all has become possible for her perseverance and sheer determination. She has inspired thousands with her perseverance and spirit. Currently, she is preparing to sit for the admission test to continue her higher studies. She wants to work to prove that people with disabilities are not a burden on this society.
